EOW – EUROPEAN OFFSHORE WIND 2009 IN STOCKHOLM

EOW 2009, the biggest European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition will be held on 14 – 16 September 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The 2009 conference will examine how the development of offshore wind energy is progressing and will propose solutions to the many challenges still facing the industry. The conference program will present practical steps forward for decisionmakers at EU and national levels, and emphasize the importance of grid integration, industrial development, as well as environmental and administrative considerations.

EOW 2009 is an excellent opportunity for the SGS Competence Centre for Wind Energy to present its wind energy services, such as wind farm project certification and material testing services to the European audience. SGS will be exhibiting at Stand no. B0921, where visitors can discuss with the SGS Wind Energy Expert Team topics such as the risks involved in the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and maintenance phases of wind farm projects.
