United Kingdom - 08/07/08 SGS appoints new Business Development Manager for Wind Energy Services for UK and Ireland SGS has appointed Jale Cairney to the position of Business Development Manager for Wind Energy Services for UK and Ireland Jale Cairney joins SGS in this new role to assist SGS Industrial Services to establish its presence in the alternative energy market in United Kingdom as well as Ireland. She will be based in our office in Surrey. Jale Cairney started her career as an economist. Later, she spent five years in the wind technology sector. She was involved in the financial aspects of the wind farm projects for three years, she then moved onto manufacturing side in a hands-on managerial position. Her considerable experience includes quality assurance, eventually leading her to obtain ISO 9001 auditor certification. Jale comes to SGS from a consultancy company in the oil and gas industry where she was a project analyst.
